Service Charges & FAQs

Our aim at Scalesceugh is to enable our owners to enjoy a stress-free lifestyle. When you make the move to one of our apartments in Scalesceugh Hall, you can take advantage of a variety of services and benefits that are all included within a monthly service charge fee.

Our service charge ensure that all the costs of running our development are met. This includes ongoing costs such as maintaining the estate and grounds, cleaning communal areas and windows, buildings insurance, and a Services Manager, as well as fees associated with managing and operating of the residents' management company.

Additionally at some point in the future, expensive structural repairs or improvements will become necessary, for instance, resurfacing roadways and pathways.

To relieve our Scalesceugh Hall owners of these concerns, we need to collect two types of fee to ensure we have sufficient funds to cover all the ongoing costs of running the development and the expense of any major works required.
